ABRE LA CONVOCATORIA PARA DESCUBRIMIENTOS PHE, EL VISIONADO DE PORFOLIOS DE PHOTOESPAÑA
PHotoEspaña, festival internacional de fotografía y artes visuales abre la convocatoria de Descubrimientos PHE.
Descubrimientos PHE es el visionado de porfolios de PHotoEspaña que tendrá lugar los días 29, 30 y 31 de mayo de 2012 en Madrid. El visionado ofrece a fotógrafos de todo el mundo la oportunidad de mostrar su trabajo, en reuniones individuales, a siete comisarios y editores especializados en el medio.
De entre todos los porfolios recibidos en esta convocatoria, un jurado seleccionará a setenta fotógrafos para participar en el visionado.
Algunos de los visionadores en esta edición 2012 son:
Barnabas Bencsik (Director de Ludwig Múzeum, Budapest), Baudoin Lebon (Director de la Galería Baudoin Lebon, Paris), Mariani Chiara Nilla (Editora gráfica de Il Corriere della Sera Magazine ( Sette)), Mónica Portillo (Comisaria y crítica independiente), Gabriele Schor (Comisaria jefe. Verbund collection. Viena), Ingo Taubhorn (Comisario Haus der Photographie – Aktuelle Kunst, Hamburgo), Yukie Kamiya (Comisaria jefe.Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art ).

CALL FOR ENTRIES OPENS FOR DESCUBRIMIENTOS PHE, PHOTOESPAÑA´S PORTFOLIO REVIEWS
PHotoEspaña, international photography and visual arts festival, opens the Descubrimientos PHE call for entries.
Descubrimientos PHE are the festival´s portfolio reviews that will celebrate its upcoming edition on May 29, 30 and 31, 2012. The portfolio reviews offers photographers from all over the world an opportunity to show their work individually to seven specialized curators and editors.
A jury will be named to select from the submitted portfolios a total of seventy photographers to participate the portfolio reviews.
The panel of confirmed reviewers for 2012 includes:
Barnabas Bencsik (Director of the Ludwig Museum in Budapest), Baudoin Lebon (Director of the Galería Baudoin Lebon in Paris), Mariani Chiara Nilla (Picture editor for Il Corriere della Sera Magazine in Italy), Mónica Portillo (Independent curator and critic in UK-Spain), Gabriele Schor (Chief curator of the Verbund Collection in Vienna), Ingo Taubhorn (Curator of the Haus der Photographie in Hamburg), and Yukie Kamiya (Chief curator of the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art ).
